A Fairtrade Parish

We are proud that our parish alongside many others in the Westminster diocese has attained Fairtrade status. As a Parish we have promised to:

  1. Use Fairtrade tea and coffee after services and in all parish meetings.
  2. Aim to use other Fairtrade products such as sugar, biscuits and fruit.
  3. Promote Fairtrade during Fairtrade Fortnight and during the year through events, worship and other activities whenever possible.
The FAIRTRADE Mark means:
  • a fair and stable price to farmers for their products
  • producers receive additional income to invest in their community
  • greater respect for the environment
  • a closer link between consumers and producers

Dear God,
We pray for those people around the world who grow and produce the things we eat and buy.
We pray that they get a fair price for the things we buy from them.
We pray that we can help support these people by buying Fairtrade goods so that we can help create a better and more just world.
Amen
