Annual Forty Hours of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

Once a year, we have a more extended opportunity of praying before Jesus at Exposition, known as the Forty Hours (full details below), as that is the total length of the Exposition, although in our case spread over five days rather than being continuous. We need to ensure there are plenty of people praying in church through the Forty Hours, so there is a rota.

The idea of the Forty Hours is to provide a way to prepare for the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Most Holy Body and Blood of the Lord, which is our annual day of thanksgiving for the gift of the Eucharist.
